Barista, Full-time
All positions start at $18-$21 to start DOE.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Make ready hot or cold items for display case and /or customers.
- Display different items and advises customers on quality of food, method of handling, and other factors affecting preparing, and storing food.
- Bags or wraps special requests for customers.
- Cleans shelves, cases, and coolers.
- Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
- Sets up displays and stocks and face shelves, counter, containers, or trays with new merchandise.
- Rotates stock to maintain freshness, watching for outdated product.
- Obtains credit for product.
- Sets up displays, stocks and face shelves with new merchandise.
- Maintains cleanliness of shelving.
- Reviews and maintains price structure.
- Abide by all Island Market procedures and safety standards.
- Performs any and all other assigned tasks.

In our Front End:
Positions:
Cashier, Full-time
All positions start at $18.00-$20.00 to start DOE.
Position Summary:
Operates cash register to itemize and total customer’s purchases, by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Counts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of work shift.
- Reviews weekly ad sheets to note price changes and sale items.
- Reviews produce identification daily.
- Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.
- Weighs items, bags merchandise, redeems promotional coupons.
- Accurately collects cash, check, or credit card payment from customer and makes change for cash or check transactions and issues receipt to customer. Offers cash back to customers if requested.
- Cleans and maintains work station as needed.
- Clean, stocks and face shelf items as needed.
- Records daily business from cash register to balance sheet.
- Assists others in performing duties.
- Complies with all food handling and safety policies.
- Performs any and all other assigned tasks.

Position Summary:
Maintains stock on shelves per direction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Sets up displays and stocks shelves, counter, containers, or trays with new merchandise.
- Cleans shelves, cases, and coolers.
- Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
- Rotates stock to maintain freshness, watching for outdated product, keeping displays culled and full.
- Maintains quality control of waste stream per written policy.
- Abide by all Island Market procedures and safety standards.
- Performs any and all other assigned tasks.

We will consider full or part time positions. No experience necessary unless noted. Full benefit package including medical package after 30 days for full-time employees, earning paid time off from day one and med flight memberships. Must be available for evenings and holidays.
