Asparagus Quiche

Asparagus Quiche

  • 1 10 inch pie shell
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 14 spears asparagus
  1. Preheat oven to 450*.
  2. Chill pie for 30 minutes.
  3. Fry and crumble the bacon.Beat the eggs, add cream, salt and pepper.Place the bottom halves of the asparagus on the bottom of the pie shell.
  4. Then layer the other ingredients in this order...asparagus, cheese, bacon egg mix, and then top with a pin wheel of asparagus tops.Bake at 450* for 15 minutes.
  5. Then cut oven back to 350 and continue to bake for an additional 40 minutes.
  6. Cover crust edges if needed..
